Vinicius' Camp 'Working On' Real Madrid Exit Amid Racism Row

Vinicius' Camp 'Working On' Real Madrid Exit Amid Racism Row

Vinicius Junior's agents are reportedly exploring an exit from Real Madrid for the Brazilian winger.

It is claimed that Vinicius Junior's representatives are now exploring a potential departure from Real Madrid after the Brazilian was racially abused again during a LaLiga encounter on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old was reportedly once again exposed to monkey chants during Los Blancos' 1-0 defeat to Valencia at the Mestalla on Sunday.

An enraged Vinicius took the matter into his own hands as he seemed to point out the supporters who were racially abusing him, leading to a long pause in the game.

The left-winger was later sent off for an apparent slap on Valencia player Hugo Duro, who himself escaped receiving a red card despite seemingly to hold the Brazilian around the neck.

After the game, the ex-Flamengo prodigy took to social media to bemoan the abuse and pointed the finger at LaLiga, whom he believes is not doing enough to ensure players of colour are protected.

It has since been claimed by ESPN Brasil that the player's entourage is now willing to look into a potential exit from Real as a result of the discrimination he has been subjected to throughout this season.

Those who work with Vinicius are reportedly uncomfortable with Los Blancos' attitude towards the situation, although the report also states the Selecao star would prefer to remain at the club and continue standing up to the abuse.

Sunday's events are the latest in a string of verbal attacks on the player in Spain in this campaign, with it believed that Real have filed as many as eight legal complaints in response to the treatment he has received.
