Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has commented Los Blancos fans' recent booing of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
'Ronaldo Is The Example Of Professionalism'
The Portuguese was jeered by some of the club's home fans in their 3-0 La Liga win over Real Sociedad on Sunday night, and when asked about the issue in a post-match press conference, Zidane looked to avoid the topic.
"Cristiano Ronaldo being whistled?" the French tactician responded, according to Marca.
"You're asking me the question with such a serious face, so I'd prefer to just share a smile."
The Frenchman did, however, address the supporters' general whistles, admitting it does make things difficult when the crowd gets on the team's back.
"It's true that we can sometimes be unhappy when the crowd whistle us during certain moments, but the players needed support today and the fans delivered," he added.
Ronaldo got on to the score sheet in the fixture, along with Mateo Kovacic and Alvaro Morata.
