Lionel Messi is reportedly close to agreeing a new contract at FC Barcelona, but only if the club agrees to this one condition.

The Catalan giants are apparently prioritising Messi's renewal after recently announcing a new deal for Neymar.
It will be his eighth contract extension since he joined the club, but the Argentine wants to include a special clause in his new deal.
According to Diario Gol, Messi wants a clause allowing him to leave for Newell's Old Boys when he wishes to return to his former club.
The 28-year-old has often stated that he would like to retire at the Rosario-based side, and wants to make sure Barcelona would let him go. However, the clause does not mean he is planning on leaving any time soon.
The Argentine joined Barcelona's youth academy as a 13-year-old, and has scored 464 goals and assisted another 217 strikes in 541 senior games for the club.

Messi is reportedly close to returning from his recent injury, and could be included in the squad for the Catalan giants' next league game, against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.
