Back in October 2013, the Swiss was asked to compare the games' current best two players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Blatter clearly took the side of the Argentine, mocking Ronaldo with a few strange gestures.
"One has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other but that doesn't matter," he said at the time, as recalled by Marca.
"I can't say who is the best - there will be a contest again this year at the Ballon d'Or. I like both of them, but I prefer Messi.
"Lionel Messi is a good boy that every father and every mother would like to take home.
"He's a good man, he's very fast, and he's not exuberant, he's playing well, he's dancing. He's a kind man, a good boy."
Ronaldo didn't take Blatter's remarks lightly and showed his disappreciation on the pitch as well as via his social media channels.

Blatter later apologised for his comments after even Real's president Florentino Perez had written a letter to the FIFA president.
