Paris Saint-Germain's hierarchy have reportedly threatened Kylian Mbappe amid rumours he has agreed a deal with Real Madrid.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the 25-year-old was warned by club president Nasser Al Khelaifi that he would face consequences if he committed to a move to Real during the season.
This comes after the Frenchman was substituted at the break during PSG's 0-0 draw with Monaco in Ligue 1 this past weekend, before he watched the rest of the match from the stands instead of from the bench.
Reports across Europe suggest that Mbappe will sign a deal with Los Blancos ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, although there is yet to be official confirmation on where the forward will play next season.
It appears he could be suffering the repercussions of having already confirmed his upcoming departure from PSG, with head coach Luis Enrique having said the team will need to get used to playing without him.
On the weekend, the Spaniard repeated that sentiment following the side's stalemate in Ligue 1, amid suggestions the boss could be under pressure from the board to give Mbappe this treatment.

The abovementioned publication claims that Khelaifi told his entourage that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner would no longer play for the team if he a pens a pre-contract with Los Blancos.
