This past weekend, the record European champions released a statement insisting that they are not negotiating with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
The Spanish giants are believed to have done this in order to avoid allegations of tampering from PSG should a prospective deal for the player come to fruition.
During an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday, the issue of the press release came up and when the Italian publication asked PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi about it, he said: "I haven't seen Real Madrid's statement, we are all focused on ourselves and our football, not on others.
"Kylian continues to achieve great goals and maybe people take it for granted, but no one has played in two World Cup finals and also scored a hat-trick.
"I repeat: Kylian is the best in the world, it's fantastic to see him at the helm of PSG and France. He has a positive effect on our young people, he helps us build our future."
While Al Khelaifi might have heaped praise on the pacey attacker, he will likely be stressed about the Bondy native's future at the Parc des Princes.
As a result of being in the final year of his contract with Les Parisiens, he will be free to negotiate a pre-contract with the club of his choosing from January 2024.

However, PSG have been in this position before, during the 2021/22 season, and like back then, they will be hoping to once again convince the forward to prolong his stay in the French capital.
