Neymar: I Spent Two Days At Home Crying

Former FC Barcelona superstar Neymar has spoken about his reaction to his latest injury at French giants Paris Saint-Germain, especially after suffering a similar fate last season.

The 26-year-old missed the last three months of the previous campaign through injury and was unfortunate to be hit with another problem in January.

Neymar is expected to be out for up to two months, while certain reports suggested the Brazilian could be out for the rest of the season.

Asked about how he took the bad news, the ex-Catalan club star admitted he was devastated.

"This time I had a tough time getting over it," Brazilian TV channel Globo.

"I spent two days at home crying. It's more complicated.

"The first time I hurt myself I said, 'I'll have an operation, it has to be fixed as quickly as possible'. I wasn't sad."

In a recent interview, Neymar confirmed he will be back before the end of the season.

"It's getting better," he told YouTube show Fui Clear.

"We have already done several treatments, some procedures in order to improve it as quickly as possible and we are happy with the progress and with how things are going.

"I can't wait to do what I love to do the most in my life which is to play football. It's eight to 10 weeks (recovery period) - that's what we imagine, so I think 10 weeks at most. We have worked to accelerate the process."
