UEFA president, Michel Platini, has insisted Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't deserve the 2014 FIFA ballon d'Or, just like Lionel Messi didn't deserve his in 2010.
Platini, who won the Ballon d'Or three times as a player, is adamant that football's most prestigious individual award should go to a World Cup winner in a World Cup year.

"Many players may well deserve the Ballon d'Or, but I am of the opinion that in a World Cup year, it should be awarded to a world champion," he told Spanish media.
"This is in line with what I said four years ago when, in my opinion, the award should have gone to a Spanish player."
The 59-year-old also insisted that FIFA should publish the inquiry report about the bidding process of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
"I would like the whole report to be published, always in line with the rules laid down by the Ethics Committee," Platini added.
"And of course, if anything untoward has occurred, there should be another vote."
