Memphis Depay, who joined the Red Devils for £25 million this transfer window, has scored an impressive seven goals from direct free-kicks this past season for PSV.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo and Messi scored only two free-kick goals in La Liga apiece. Depay also has a better free-kick conversion rate than both the Real Madrid and FC Barcelona superstars.
The 21-year-old scored seven goals from 33 free-kick attempts with a conversion rate of 21.21 percent, while Ronaldo only scored two goals from as many attempts, equaling a conversion rate of just 6.06 percent.
Messi, meanwhile, needed 37 attempts to score his two goals, which equals a conversion rate of 5.41 percent.
However, Depay is not the most clinical free-kick taker in Europe, after Bremen's Bundesliga starlet Zlatko Junuzovic scored five goals from only 22 attempts – a conversion rate of 22.73 percent.
