FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has opened up about the secret to his success with free-kicks over the past year.
The Argentine has established himself as one of the deadliest free-kick takers in the past 12 months, with some impressive strikes in the previous campaign and this one.
Messi scored from four set-pieces last season, one of which was named the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League Goal of the Season, but he has already improved on that by netting six free-kicks this term.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner continues to practise set-pieces in training, but he has now revealed that he has taken to studying goalkeepers.
"It's all about learning and training. I've been improving my free-kicks with practice."
