FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has had his performances in the Copa America labelled as 'lazy' by his grandfather Antonio Cuccitini.
'Messi's Argentina Break Nothing But Bull****!'
The Argentine failed yet again to bring his Barcelona form to the national side, as he only managed to score one goal throughout his countries Copa campaign.
Messi's grandfather believes that he was not fully concentrated on his countries full campaign and he could easily see that from the last three games.
"Some of him was there," said Antonio Cuccitini, Messi's grandfather, to Radio Casilda
"Triumphs are the greatest things there are. But the last three games he was bad. He was lazy."
Barcelona teammate Neymar has come out to defend his Argentine teammate after all the criticism he has received in his home country.
"Everyone we were with during the whole year, and our fans know that Leo is the best, he is number one," Neymar told reporter Joaquim Piera of Sport.
It must be highlighted that Argentina haven't won a trophy for 22 years now, so to point the finger at one of the nation's greatest-ever players seems a bit silly.

Messi has made 102 appearances for Argentina and has scored 46 goals along the way.
