The Argentine beats Eden Hazard with 258 successful dribbles to 254 in 2013/14 and 2014/15, according to WhoScored.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has only completed 99 successful dribbles over the same period - which is not even half as many as Messi.
Bundesliga quadruple Roberto Firminio (Hoffenheim, 244 dribbles), Raffael (Monchengladbach, 222 dribbles), Karim Bellarabi (206 dribbles) and Eric Choupo-Moting (Schalke, 200 dribbles) are the only other players with 200 or more successful dribbles.
Bayern Munich duo Franck Ribery (175 dribbles) and Arjen Robben (172 dribbles) follow in seventh and eighth place respectively.
Liverpool's Raheem Sterling (172 dribbles) is the only other Premier League player in the top 10 aside from Hazard, while Paris Saint-Germain's Lucas Moura (167 dribbles) is the only representative of the French Ligue 1.

Messi also has the best overall performance rating among Europe's top five leagues with 8.76. Robben follows in second place with 8.63 and Ronaldo is third with 8.49.
