At the age of 23, Mbappe is already regarded as one of the best players in the game.
Since his arrival in the French capital back in 2017, the attacker has bagged 180 goals for Paris Saint-Germain, nine of which have come in the six games he has played this season.
As the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner looks to reach the summit of world football from an individual perspective, he has now claimed that the likes of Ronaldo and Messi are on the way out, career-wise.
The Portuguese and the Argentine have dominated the beautiful game for more than a decade, but Mbappe feels he is now ready to replace the duo at the top of the game.

"I think I'm about to win it [the Ballon d'Or]," he told The New York Times.
"I always say I dream about everything. I have no limits. So of course, like you say, it's a new generation.
"And Ronaldo, Messi – you're going to stop. We have to find someone else, someone new."
Should the French forward hold the illustrious award aloft this year, he will be as old as Ronaldo was when the Manchester United striker captured his first Ballon d'Or, but a year older than Messi, who won his first when he was just 22.
Mbappe will face stiff competition for the Golden Ball this year, though, with the likes of Sadio Mane and compatriot Karim Benzema also favourites to lift the prestigious prize.
