Ronaldo To 'Sue' Former Club

Portugal and Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly decided to sue his former club.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Juventus players reportedly agreed to defer four months of their as the club were struggling financially.

The reports in Italy claim that Juventus did have individual agreements with the players, although the deferred wages are also subject of an ongoing investigation.

La Gazzeeta Dello Sport have now reported that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is now taking legal action over the unpaid wages during that period.

Ronaldo spent three years at Juventus between 2018 and 2021, where he scored an impressive 101 goals in 134 appearances while also winning two Serie A titles.

The report adds that the Portuguese star wants to be paid  £17.15million in unpaid pages, which is the net amount he was promised by the club when he agreed to defer his wages.

It has been revealed that Ronaldo made the move after Paulo Dybala had reached an agreement with Juventus approximate £2.6million he was owed.

The AS Roma forward had reportedly dropped his lawsuit and an agreement with Juventus was found.
