Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, says his assists and goals stats aren't 'too shabby' this year after picking up the Pichichi and Alfredo di Stefano awards.
Ronaldo won the Pichichi trophy for being La Liga's best goal-scorer and the Di Stefano award for the Best Player of last Season.
"Picking up these awards again next year would be good; it'd be a sign that I've performed well," he said at the ceremony, as quoted by Marca.
"My goal is to win things as a team and individually. I work hard towards that end, so if I'm here next year, it'll be a good sign."
"Everyone has their own way of thinking and working. Playing football is what I most enjoy and I try to do my best. I'll never tire of winning things."
Ronaldo confirmed this could be the best moment in his career, but was adamant he always tries to do better than the previous year.
"Maybe I'm at my peak, but I always strive to be better than the year before. The time will come when I won't achieve it, though," the Portuguese added.
"I'm happy, the team are doing very well and we're improving. My assists and goals stats aren't too shabby. I want to keep learning."
Ronaldo has started the new campaign with 18 goals after 11 game weeks and is on track to defend the trophy for the best goal-scorer in Spain.
