Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a sensational return to Manchester United after reportedly being contacted by the Premier League side.
The 35-year-old could leave Juventus after the current campaign, with Mundo Deportivo recently reporting that the Serie A club is looking into getting the superstar off their wage bill.
After Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo claimed his side are one of the few clubs that could afford the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, FoxSports America journalist Christian Martin has reported that United have approached their former star.
"Our sources in Manchester and Porto confirm that Manchester United tempted Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the club for next season," he wrote on Twitter, as translated into English.
"The Portuguese analyses it. Juventus would negotiate it if he asks for it."
Ronaldo played for United between 2003 and 2009, scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances to help the Premier League side lift 10 trophies.
Despite all the rumours around him, Ronaldo has scored six goals in just four Serie A appearances so far this season but is currently outside Europe's top goalscorers so far in this campaign, which you can find below:
