Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo had a memorable night against Lazio on Monday as he broke several records, but later insisted that the team's results are more important.
The 35-year-old scored both of the Bianconeri's goals in their 2-1 win over Lazio earlier this week.
The victory saw Juventus close in on a ninth successive Serie A title as they are now eight points ahead of second-placed Inter with four games to spare.
Ronaldo once again made the headlines after scoring his 29th and 30th league goals for the campaign. As a consequence, he became the first Juventus player to reach the 30-goal mark in 68 years.
His first strike against Lazio also marked his 50th goal since joining Juventus, which means he is the first footballer to score at least 50 times in each of the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A.
The superstar was obviously happy with his milestones, but insisted after the match that the team's results have more value than individual achievements.
"We are a phenomenal team and we showed that again today, although we always want to improve and raise the bar.
"These things are nice, but the Capocannoniere title is a natural process that comes as a consequence of scoring to win games for the team.
"There are four games to go, we cannot get this wrong, and know Serie A is tough. The team is doing well, though."
Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile are now the joint leaders in the Capocannoniere race for the top goalscorer in Serie A, while they are also both just four strikes behind Robert Lewandowski in the European Golden Shoe race.
