FC Barcelona have reportedly confirmed that Neymar will represent Brazil at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and will not take part in this year's Copa America.

Earlier this month, the Brazilian Football Confederation made it clear they wanted Neymar to be available for both the Copa and the Rio Games, but a deal has now been struck between the federation and the Catalan giants.
In a statement released by Barca on Wednesday, it was announced that the former Santos star will only represent his nation at the Olympics.
"FC Barcelona expresses its gratitude to the Brazilian Football Confederation and its president Marco Polo del Nero for accepting the Club's proposal for Neymar Jr to only play at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer, to be held from August 3 to 21, and not at the Copa America in the United States from June 3 to 26," the statement on Barcelona's official website read.
