Man Utd Chiefs 'Reach Conclusion' Over Ten Hag

Manchester United have reportedly made a decision on Erik ten Hag's future after their loss to Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend.

Manchester United's chiefs have reportedly reached a verdict regarding Erik ten Hag's future as club manager after their 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend.

On Sunday, the Red Devils suffered their third defeat in the league this season.

Captain Bruno Fernandes' 36th minute red card was sandwiched in between Brennan Johnson's opener and goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke.

The result has added yet more pressure on United's Dutch tactician at a time when he was already under intense scrutiny.

Club sporting director Dan Ashworth, chief executive Omar Berrada, technical director Jason Wilcox and board director Sir Dave Brailsford, who is minority owner INEOS' director of sport, were all in attendance this past weekend at the Theatre of Dreams as they witnessed the team lose for the third time in six 2024/25 league games.

While the pressure may be mounting on the 54-year-old, however, it seems his job is secure, at least for the immediate future.

The Mancunians are set to face FC Porto in the UEFA Europa League and Aston Villa in the top flight later this week and, according to The Telegraph, Ten Hag will be in charge for both matches as the club's executive committee plans to continue supporting the manager, the players and the staff at this difficult juncture.

Although there seem to be no immediate plans to fire Ten Hag, the same report claims that the Haaksbergen native will need a swift response from his players before the international break or the possibility of him being fired will likely increase exponentially.
