Surprise EPL Side Linked With Move For Sancho

Manchester United star Jadon Sancho has been linked with a surprise move in the Premier League after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

The England international will train on his own after reportedly refusing to apologise to Ten Hag for accusing the manager of lying about his absence from the loss to Arsenal.

Sancho did remove his statement on Twitter earlier this week, but he has not made a public apology and has since been exiled pending the outcome of a disciplinary issue.

According to Manchester Evening News, the England winger could look to move to another club in the January transfer window after a tough spell under Ten Hag.

There were reports of Saudi Pro League teams making a late move in the transfer window last week, but the player was not keen on making the switch to Saudi Arabia.

The report from M.E.N adds that fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest have been identified as a possible destination, as he Sancho could link up with coach Steve Cooper who he played under for the England U-17 side.

United coach Erik ten Hag on Friday explained his decision to discipline the former Borussia Dortmund winger.

"Strict lines is the point," Ten Hag said, as per Mirror.

"It's what the club asked me to do, because there was no good culture before last season. So to set some good standards and that is what I did.

"That is my job, to control the standards. It has never been when someone makes one mistake, it is a whole process before you come to a certain outcome about strict lines. If staff, players or whoever, if there is a structure to cross lines you have to be strong, absolutely."
