New signing Daniel James was handed a start alongside Tahith Chong and Anthony Martial in the attack while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Paul Pogba started on the bench.   James showed a lot of promise in the early stages of the encounter and managed to carve out a couple chances in the final third. United's first real opening arrived on 28 minutes as Jesse Lingard forced goalkeeper Liam Reddy into a fine save with an effort from distance.   Despite the dominance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, chances were hard to come by in the latter stages of the first stanza while Sergio Romero enjoyed a quiet opening 45 minutes.   Solskjaer opted for a completely new line-up in the second half that included new signing Wan-Bissaka, Pogba, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford.   The substitutions certainly paid dividends as the deadlock was broken on the hour mark through Rashford, who buried a left-footed strike into the far corner.   Juan Mata and Pogba certainly improved United going forward in the second half as they combined to set up Mason Greenwood, who fired with 20 minutes remaining.   The victory was sealed with seven minutes remaining as substitute James Garner found the back of the net with a fine strike from 20-yards out.   United will now face long-time rivals Leeds United in their next friendly on Wednesday afternoon.
