Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba is reportedly nearing his "dream move" to Real Madrid, with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner said to be in an advanced stage of completing a transfer to Zinedine Zidane's club.
Spanish publication El Confidencial recently reported that Real are expected to acquire a few big-name signings for next season, with Pogba being identified as one of the transfer targets.
According to Fredric Calenge, a journalist for French television programme Telefoot, an agreement has now been reached between the two clubs, which is likely to see Pogba don a Real jersey in 2019/20.
"Talks are in advanced stages," he told Telefoot when discussing the France star's potential move to Spain.
The Red Devils are said to be demanding a fee of €150 million (R2.4 billion) for the player's services, who is said to be earning €17 million (R272 million) a season at Old Trafford.
Should the 26-year-old complete a move to Real and remain on the same salary he is on at United, he would become the highest paid player in Zidane's side.
