Manchester United have reportedly come to a significant verdict regarding the future of Marcus Rashford.

According to Sky Sports Germany, the Red Devils are open to selling the England international as soon as the upcoming transfer window.
The Manchester native has been part of the club since he was eight years old, but now it seems that his future lies elsewhere as the record English champions look to make room in terms of wages.
During the 2022/23 season, the United academy graduate had the most prolific campaign of his career, scoring 30 goals and providing nine assists in all competitions. His goalscoring feats then earned him a massive five-year extension, where he is now believed to be earning £300 000 (R6.8 million) per week in wages.
Since signing the new contract, however, Rashford has been a shadow of his former self, and now it seems that the club have become disillusioned with him, no longer regarding him as unsellable.
By offloading his wages, not only would it give the club sufficient breathing room in their wage structure, but selling a homegrown talent such as the 27-year-old would allow them to further comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
The same report claims that this would allow them even more flexibility in the transfer market, something they are keen to explore as new head coach Ruben Amorim looks to impose his ideologies on the team.

It remains to be seen who his potential suitors might be, but the club are understood to not be in a rush to sell him, as they are also open to parting ways with him at the end of the season.
