The 23-year-old penned a five-year deal with the 2023/24 FA Cup winners following an impressive spell in Italy.
Zirkzee contributed to 23 goals in 58 appearances for Bologna between 2022 and 2024, and was named the Serie A Young Player of the Season this past term.
The Dutchman began training with his new teammates only recently after he represented his country at the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany.
The striker made two appearances from the bench for Ronald Koeman's side as they made it to the semi-final stage of the competition.
