Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed the details of his conversation with Sir Alex Ferguson during their recent dinner.
Rashford 'Decides' Man Utd Future
The Dutchman is currently preparing for a pivotal week for the Red Devils, with crucial cup encounters against Barcelona in the UEFA Europa League and Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on the horizon.
It seems that one of the ways in which Ten Hag has chosen to prepare for those games is by consulting United's most successful manager ever, Ferguson, during a recent dinner.
Prior to their European tie against the LaLiga table-toppers on Thursday night, Ten Hag was happy to share what he and the Scotsman discussed.
"It's massive," the 52-year-old told members of the media in a press conference, as per The Independent.
"I always enjoy speaking with people who have a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience. He wants to share it, he wants to help and support.
"He feels Manchester United is his club and he feels so committed. He wants us to do well. It was a great night and I look forward to the next night with him."
The 81-year-old has enjoyed some famous nights against the Catalan giants and remains the last Red Devils boss to triumph over the Spanish outfit.
The record Premier League winners progressed to the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League final courtesy of a Paul Scholes long-range strike against the Blaugrana at Old Trafford, before going on to win that edition of the tournament.

That season's European triumph was one of the 38 trophies Ferguson won during his 26 years in charge of the Manchester club, while Ten Hag will be looking to collect his first when they take on the Magpies in the EFL Cup final on Sunday.
