Ligue 1 Report: PSG 0-2 Monaco 20 March 2016

Ligue 1   Result: PSG 0-2 Monaco   Date: 20 March 2016   Venue: Parc des Princes   Paris Saint-Germain lost for the first time at home without scoring this season as Monaco claimed a surprise 2-0 victory on Sunday.   The Parisians were inches from scoring the opener in the 11th minute when a fantastic cross from Angel Di Maria went across the face of goal with Edinson Cavani throwing himself at the ball. The striker just couldn't reach it.   Shortly before the interval it was Di Maria who once again provided the spark for the hosts. The Argentine sent another great cross into the danger area, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed his shot over the bar.    Di Maria continued producing the incisive passes just after the break, but his strikers continued disappointing him. On this occasion the former Manchester United winger sent a through ball in behind for Ibrahimovic, but his shot was straight at the goalkeeper.   PSG's profligacy was punished in the 65th minute. Vagner Love found himself unmarked at the far post after peeling away from David Luiz and tapped it in for a one-nil lead.   A few minutes later the visitors were two goals clear. David Luiz made another mistake in the box, dallying on the ball, to give Fabinho a chance to take it from him. The defender then dragged his compatriot to the ground, giving away a penalty which Fabinho slotted.
