Result: Paris Saint-Germain 2-3 OGC Nice

Venue: Parc des Princes

PSG made three changes to the that thrashed Olympique Lyonnais, as Danilo Pereira, Carlos Soler and Goncalo Ramos, who joined Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele in a front three.

The Parisians were on the front foot early on but they were not quite clicking in the last third and they were punished on 21 minutes from a sloppy mistake by Mbappe, as Terem Moffi latched onto a rebound and fired a deflected shot into the back of the net.

However, Luis Enrique's charges quickly got into gear as Mbappe levelled matters eight minutes later with a powerful strike that goalkeeper Marcin Bulka got a hand to but could not keep it out.

PSG were all over Nice towards the end of the first stanza and on the stroke of half-time Mbappe almost gave them the lead with a strike towards the top corner that missed past the post by a whisker.

Nice had a dream start in the second stanza as Gaetan Laborde restored their lead eight minutes in, with a strike at the back post after a cross by Moffi following a counter-attack.

Seeking to turn around the game, Enrique made a triple change on 67 minutes, as he withdrew Ramos, Soler and Dembele and brought on Randal Kolo Muani, Manuel Ugarte and Bradley Barcola.

PSG were caught cold immediately after that as Moffi made it 3-1 for the visitors and got his brace with a strike in the box after a solo run from a through ball by Laborde.

Nice's defence stood firm in the closing stages but they could not do nothing to stop Mbappe from reducing the deficit for PSG three minutes before time with a bouncing volley that looped over Bulka after a deep cross by Kolo Muani.

There was time for the Parisians to salvage a point, as they put Nice under pressure with six minutes of stoppage time but they could not get clear chances as the visitors bagged all the points.
