The 23-year-old joined Olympique Marseille at the start of the season from Manchester United. The Bradford native has enjoyed a phenomenal debut campaign at the Stade Velodrome, scoring 20 goals since joining the club.
However, earlier this week, news emerged that the French giants could be willing to sell their talisman, reportedly citing poor attitude as a reason.
Clubs such as Barcelona have been linked with the versatile attacker, but according to Greenwood, he has no desire to leave the Ligue 1 outfit and wants to remain at the club next season.
“I hope to be here next year for the Champions League,” said the English-born attacker at a rare press conference appearance, as per Get French Football News.
“All the other players tell me that the stadium is something special. I think it’s been a very positive season, we’ve reached our objective.
“I feel at home here. I recently had a baby here with my girlfriend. Not a lot of people get to experience that kind of thing here and with all my teammates and coaches I would like to thank them all.”

Despite his desire to stay at the club, the decision will ultimately lie with Marseille and what they choose to do with the player—so it remains to be seen whether Greenwood will stay or depart.
