Paris Saint-Germain suffered their first league loss of the season, as they went down 2-1 to Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday evening.
After a quiet start to the encounter, Lyon broke the deadlock in the 13th minute as Alexandre Lacazette picked out Maxwell Cornet, who curled a fine effort past Kevin Trapp.
The Ligue 1 champions nearly hit back in the 35th minute as Lucas Moura collected a cross from Gregory Van der Wiel, before firing just wide of the upright.
Lopes came to Lyon's rescue in the a minute later, as the shot-stopper got down well to keep out Thiago Silva's well-placed header.
The home managed to double their lead on the stroke of halftime, as Sergi Darder turned home Rafael Da Silva's cross from the right flank.
PSG pulled a goal back shortly after the halftime break as Javier Pastore did well to tee up Lucas, who rifled home from close range, 2-1.
Lyon could have added a third goal in the 53rd minute but Ferri placed his effort wide of the upright from close range, after some good build-up play.
The visitors were denied a chance to level matters in the 82nd minute as Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa popped up with a vital block in the box to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Laurent Blanc's charges pushed for an equaliser but were unable to bypass the Lyon defence, as they were handed their first loss in Ligue 1 this campaign.
