Zinedine Zidane Rages After Sevilla Draw

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was furious following his team's 2-2 draw with Sevilla in LaLiga on Sunday night.

The Frenchman's team missed the chance to capitalise on Atletico Madrid and Barcelona's 0-0 stalemate on the weekend, although things could arguably have been worse for Los Blancos.

Eden Hazard clinched a last-minute equaliser to rescue a point for Real in their clash against Sevilla late on Sunday, but it was the fact that his team had to come from behind at all that infuriated Zidane.

The LaLiga champions were awarded a penalty in the 75th minute of the clash, but the decision was overruled by the video assistant referee after he spotted a handball in the Real box in the moments before Karim Benzema was fouled.

A spot-kick was then given to Sevilla instead, with Ivan Rakitic duly obliging from 12 yards to give Sevilla a 2-1 lead. While the home team came back to salvage a draw, Zidane admitted his fury with the match officials.

"I'm very angry," he told Movistar.

"I spoke to the referee to look for an explanation. It's really complicated because we deserved much more but it is what it is.

"I don't understand anything from the referee. If there is a Militao handball, it is Sevilla handball as well.

"I am not convinced by what he told me. I never speak about referees, but today I am angry.

"Don't ask me any more about this, I've already said what I think.

"They have to explain the handball rules to me, and that's it. We're going to fight until the end. Until the death."
