With the season drawing to a conclusion in LaLiga this weekend, here is the latest update surrounding Ousmane Dembele's future at the club.
The French winger's contract expires in June and there has been no indication on where the player's long-term future lies ahead of Sunday's final game.
Spanish publication Diario Sport have now reported that Barcelona and Dembele's representatives have scheduled a meeting for next week after the final game of the season.
It is believed that both sides trying to make this work, although the France international reportedly wants the club to increase their offer.
It remains to be seen if the Catalan giants will increase their offer, as the club have been clear and open about their financial issues.
Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly said to be keeping tabs on Dembele's situation should he become a free agent in July.
Barcelona president Joan Loparta says the ball has been in Dembele's court for a while.
"He wants to stay, but he is very tempted by other options that offer better conditions," he told Catalunya Radio. "The offer has been presented for a long time and they have asked us for time until the end of the season, next week.
"We already wanted an answer before, but we can't force it because Dembele ends his contract. The coach and I like him. We have made a very important effort to keep him.
"I see him very comfortable. There is a good personal relationship with everyone. [Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang] has come, with him and they are very good friends.
"He has some representatives who control the situation, but I hope he stays. If not, we will strengthen that position."
