One of FC Barcelona's newest star signings is reportedly unhappy at the Camp Nou.
8 Top Managers Who Are Currently Unemployed
Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal was one of the surprise acquisitions at Barca in the latest transfer window, with the Spanish club believed to have convinced him to snub Inter Milan days before they secured his signature.
The 31-year-old was apparently told he would be a key member of the team, but has not featured much since his arrival.
According to Sport, the former Bayern Munich man was heavily disappointed to be left out of the starting XI for the Blaugrana's UEFA Champions League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Vidal was also frustrated at being taken off in Barca's 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao last weekend, and did not hide his disappointment when his number was shown by the fourth official.
The Chile international is said to be upset with his role in the team, and is believed to feel the club has not kept their promise to him.
Ernesto Valverde has preferred the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho, Arthur Melo and Sergio Busquets over Vidal, who has also struggled with fitness issues in the past year.
