Real Madrid's first signing of the 2022/23 season has been confirmed.
Chelsea have announced that outgoing defender Antonio Rudiger has completed a free transfer to 2021/22 UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid on a four-year contract.

It was confirmed by Thomas Tuchel earlier this year that the German defender was set to depart the Blues at the end of his deal in June, with Rudiger believed to be eager for a new challenge following five years in England.
