Former FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, who has been at Manchester City for three years now, has revealed the best moment of his footballing career so far.

His career as a top-flight manager has been an incredible one thus far, having won trophy after trophy, but the 48-year-old's fondest memory comes from his early days as a player.
Asked recently what he feels is his biggest career highlight, Guardiola recalled the time when he was breaking into the Blaugrana's senior team as a youngster.

"I will be honest, the best moment I still remember is when I was in the academy at Barcelona team and started training in the first team," he told Sky Sports Football.
"And after one or two or three months, when I was already settled in the first team, I thought: 'Wow, I'm a football player for FC Barcelona.'
"That was the highest moment of my life, being part of the first team for Barcelona. And after that, I played 11 years there."

Guardiola played 378 matches for Barca, with whom he began his professional managerial career in 2008.
