Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the club's first departure ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Los Blancos concluded their LaLiga season on Friday evening with a goalless draw against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Madrid fans got to say their goodbyes to midfielder Isco who will be leaving when his contract expires next month.
Los Blancos manager Ancelotti confirmed the news after the stalemate, with the player now linked with a move to Betis next season.
"Isco's career with Real Madrid ends today,' the Italian coach told reporters, via Goal.
"And it's been a great career.'"
He added, We spoke ahead of the match about the fact he had debuted under me against Real Betis, even scoring a headed goal that day," Ancelotti told reporters after the contest.
"He has had a fantastic career here and been key to some big successes. Maybe he could have done more here, but I think he has been an important piece this whole time, playing lots of finals and showing his quality. I wish him the best."
