The 32-year-old was believed to be eager to join up with Argentina colleague Lionel Messi at Barcelona, and has reportedly had to accept a pay cut to strike the deal.

Aguero has left the Citizens after 10 trophy-laden years, during which he scored an incredible 260 goals across all competitions.
