Since the transfer window opened, the Blaugrana have secured the signatures of Brazilian duo Arthur and Malcom, as well as 23-year-old French defender Clement Lenglet.
Manager Ernesto Valverde will be delighted with the additional options he will have to select from in this coming season, as opposed to the previous campaign, during which he was believed to feel his squad lacked depth.
Although the new signings might not go straight into Barca's strongest XI, we have put together a line-up of what the team could look like with the new players in from the start.
In goal, Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will once again be the Catalan club's first choice, while at right-back Sergi Roberto is likely to be preferred over Nelson Semedo. Jordi Alba is expected to start at left-back, with Samuel Umtiti operating as one of the central defenders.
While Gerard Pique will continue to get regular first-team football, former Sevilla defender Lenglet might just play alongside Umtiti ahead big UEFA Champions League nights.
Sergio Busquets is likely to start in his important pivot position in midfield, with Croatian Ivan Rakitic further ahead of him. Philippe Coutinho will, without a doubt, be a regular in the starting XI, but if Arthur is called upon, it is perhaps in that left-sided central role he will be used.
The devastating and usual duo of superstar Lionel Messi and striker Luis Suarez will be favoured in attack by Valverde, where the manager is also likely to utilise the forward-thinking Malcom.
Ousmane Dembele will perhaps have rank over the Brazilian during his first few months in Spain, but the former Bordeaux player could have a major impact at the Catalans.
