Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has responded to reports that he turned down the No.7 jersey after Cristiano Ronaldo left, and reveals what squad number he really wants.

Asesnsio has been enjoying a regular starting berth since Ronaldo left the club to join Juventus in the last transfer window.
There were reports that the 22-year-old was offered the coveted No.7, which was previously worn by Ronaldo and Raul.
However, he rubbished those reports, saying,"They didn't offer me the No. 7.
"The club never said anything to me about it and I didn't have the chance to decide," he told the media according to Sports Mole.
Asensio has however reveald that he would like to wear the No.10 jersey currently occupied by Luka Modric.
"It's a number I always liked," he said.
"But now it's in good hands. In the future I would like it."
