NEW: Premier League Player 'Arrested' In Front Of Teammates

The Premier League has officially released the fixtures for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

A Premier League player was reportedly arrested during a training session in front of his teammates this week.

According to the Sun, a team's training session was interrupted this week by police to arrest a player amid accusations of making a sex tape without consent.

The player, who was gearing up for the weekend's FA Cup action, was taken away in front of his teammates at 11am for six hours of questioning.

The report claim that two phones were seized by the police, who examined the devices for footage and video recordings.

A source at the club claims players that it was initially a prank when their police had arrived.

"A lot of stars initially thought it was a prank when two uniformed officers strode on to the pitches during training. Everyone was in disbelief," a source told the Sun.

"Players were open-mouthed. No one was sure what was going on."

The Sun added that the police stepped after a woman accused the player of secretly filming their intercourse despite allegedly asking him not to do so.

The player was released and he returned to training on Friday, with the player still eligible to feature in the FA Cup this weekend.
