La Liga giants, FC Barcelona have confirmed that Neymar's release clause of €222 million has been paid.

La Liga had revealed they would not accept PSG's attempt to pay Neymar's release clause, with Ligue 1 responding by saying they must abide by FIFA's rules.
The 25-year-old's lawyers paid the sum in person at Barca's offices on Thursday.
A statement on the club's website read," On Thursday afternoon Neymar Jr's legal representatives visited in person the Club's offices and made the payment of 222 million euros in the player's name with regards to the unilateral termination of the contract that united both parties.
"As such, the Club will pass on to UEFA the details of the above operation so that they can determine the disciplinary responsibilities that may arise from this case."
