Netherlands 6-1 Turkey

Netherlands continued their fine start under Louis van Gaal with a 6-1 thrashing of Turkey

Davy Klaasen opened the scoring inside the first minutes before Memphis Depay doubled the lead in the 16th minute.

Depay got his second from the penalty spot in the 38th minute, before Turkey had Caglar Soyuncu sent on the stroke of halftime.

The Barcelona forward completed his hat-trick in the 54th minute, before Guus Til and Donyell Malen completed the rout after Cengiz Under bagged a consolation for Turkey.

Azerbaijan 0-3 Portugal

Portugal made it back-to-back wins in Group A after thrashing Azerbaijan 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

Even without Cristiano Ronaldo, Selecao were in cruise control as Bernardo Silva opened the scoring on 26 minutes after being set up by Bruno Fernandes.

Andre Silva doubled the lead on 31 minutes before Diogo Jota wrapped up the scoring on 75 minutes.

France 2-0 Finland

France got back on the winning trail after defeating Finland 2-0 in a Group D encounter.

Antoine Griezmann broke the deadlock for the world champions on 25 minutes after being set up by Karim Benzema.

The new Atletico Madrid signing bagged his and the home side's second goal on 53 minutes, which ultimately sealed the win.

Croatia 3-0 Slovenia

Croatia proved too strong for Slovenia after cruising to a 3-0 win over Slovenia on Tuesday evening.

After a claiming victory over Slovakia over the weekend, Marko Livaja opened the scoring on 33 minutes

Mario Pašalic doubled the lead on 66 minutes before Nikola Vlasic completed the scoring in the fourth minute of time added.
