On Wednesday, the Blaugrana officially welcomed 18-year-old Vitor Roque to Spain after agreeing a deal to sign him from Athletico Paranaense in Brazil earlier this year.
The young forward has impressed in his home country, having contributed to 39 goals in 81 senior appearances for the club since his arrival in 2022 from Cruzeiro.
Roque was shown around Barcelona's world-class facilities this week and is expected to be available from the start of next month, although he has only recently recovered from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The forward will reportedly begin training with his teammates on Friday already, while all eyes are on which squad number he will be given.
According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, Roque is set to take the No. 19 shirt at the Catalan club, the number most recently worn by Franck Kessie.

The number was also represented by Ferran Torres and Sergio Aguero in recent times, but was perhaps most famously worn by Lionel Messi during his early days in the club's senior team.
