On deadline day, the Blaugrana pulled off two impressive deals as they welcomed Portugal internationals Felix and Cancelo to Catalonia. The reigning LALIGA champions, however, only have the services of the Benfica Campus products for the duration of the 2023/24 campaign.
Felix has had a decent start to life with Barca, having scored four goals and provided three assists in his opening 14 matches, even scoring the winning goal in their latest UEFA Champions League match against FC Porto.
However, according to Fichajes, it is the player who assisted that goa, Cancelo, who the five-time European champions are classifying as a top priority between the two.
The same report claims that the heads of the sporting operation at the club, head coach Xavi Hernandez and sporting director Deco, are pleased with the balance the full-back provides in offence and defence.
His permanent arrival is believed to be considered essential for the Blaugrana if they are going to challenge for future competitions and they are said to be willing to pay the €25 million (R515 million) price tag that has been placed on him.

While a formal offer to Manchester City, his parent club, has not yet been made, the message of a willingness to get a deal completed as has been conveyed to Cancelo's agent Jorge Mendes.
