Yaya Slams Critics Over Work Rate Rumours
The Kenya international has been one of the Saints' star players this season, along with teammate Morgan Schneiderlin, becoming one of the Premier League's standout midfielders.
The 23-year-old has told English papers that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made contact with him, and confirmed that they would like to sign him.
"Wenger has been talking about me, and he has let it be known he would like to sign me this summer," he told ESPN.
"Arsenal are a great club and I'd love to play Champions League football as I loved being on that stage with Celtic.
"But we've had a fantastic season at Saints and I want to stay focused on helping the club qualify for Europe. Then we'll see where I end up in the summer."
Having played under Mauricio Pochettino before, it's said that Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the Kenyan - and according to him, he isn't ruling out the possibility of working with his former boss.
"If I get the chance, maybe," he added.
"You never know what will happen in the future. It's nice to be linked with other clubs as it means I'm playing well."
