Although Manchester United were urged to sell Paul Pogba amid his continuous spats with former manager Jose Mourinho, an ex-Liverpool and England star has now insisted there are not many players like the Frenchman.
'Pogba Is The Best Midfielder In Europe On His Day'
Pogba has scored twice and assisted a further two goals in just two games under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and has perhaps shown that Mourinho struggled to get the best out of him.
Jamie Redknapp, a self-professed fan of the 25-year-old's, feels that while the midfielder's performances of late have been incredible, he needs to do the same when United take on Tottenham Hotspur in January.
"Is anyone surprised that Paul Pogba looks a different player under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?" he wrote in a column for the Daily Mail.
"Pogba has been criticised more than any other this season. Some have argued that Manchester United should sell him but there aren't too many like him.
"The last two games have shown that if you give him the freedom to get forward he will create goals, score them and dictate games.
"United's next huge clash is Tottenham away on 13 January. His challenge now is to play this way against the best."
African Star Speaks Out After Racial Abuse
Pogba has played 22 games for United so far this season, scoring seven goals and assisting a further six strikes.
