After looking at the fastest players in the Premier League this season, we now feature the 10 slowest stars in England's top flight – including a former FC Barcelona star and an Arsenal striker.

While there was one African, namely Eric Bailly, among the 10 fastest EPL players, none is among the slowest in the league.
Opta tracked the top speed of all Premier League players, and Southampton striker Shane Long recorded the fastest speed with 35.31km/h – almost 10km/h faster than the star with the slowest top speed.
Olivier Giroud was the fifth slowest player in England, recording a top speed of just 29.19km/h, while Cesc Fabregas is third slowest.
The former Barcelona midfielder reached a high speed of 28.73km/h, but is still beaten by two Stoke City stars.

2) Peter Crouch (Stoke City) – 28.58km/h
3) Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea) – 28.73km/h
4) Shaun Maloney (Hull) – 28.87km/h
5) Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) – 29.19km/h
6) Lucas (Liverpool) – 29.37km/h
7) Gareth Barry (Everton) – 29.4km/h
8) Hal Robson-Kanu (West Brom) – 29.49km/h
9) Craig Gardner (West Brom) – 29.62km/h
10) Andy King (Leicester) – 29.7km/h
