Yaya Toure has reportedly received many big-money offers from clubs in China, but his agent has insisted the player prefers competitive football to a big pay cheque.

The 33-year-old seemed certain to leave the Citizens after his representative Dimitri Seluk became embroiled in a public spat with manager Pep Guardiola.
However, the four-time African Player of the Year apologised on behalf of his agent, and has impressed since Guardiola reintroduced him to the first team squad.
Seluk has now commented on rumours linking his client, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, with a big-money transfer to China.
"I do not fully agree with Axel Witsel (the latest star to leave Europe for China), with this kind of money you can give up," he told Russian site Championat.
"More important is the mentality of a footballer. There are people who like money, and those who like football.
"For all the money in China, there is not a single player at the level of Yaya Toure…
"I am sure he will play at the highest level for another five years."

Toure remained professional throughout the war of words between his agent and his manager, and has shone on the pitch for City since, scoring four goals in 11 games.
