According to Manchester Evening News, the Ivorian star has no plans to leave England, and has offers on the table from Merseyside club Everton and minnows Huddersfield Town.
Toure joined the Premier League club from FC Barcelona back in 2010, and has managed to lift eight trophies during his stay at the Etihad – three league titles, three League Cups, one FA Cup and one Community Shield.
The 34-year-old, who has made only 16 appearances for the Citizens so far this season, apparently believes he still has what it takes to play in the English top flight, despite not playing a full 90 minutes with the Citizens this season.
The Ivory Coast legend's family is settled in England, and as a result, he is not interested in any move to the Chinese Super League, despite all the lucrative offers said to be coming his way.
There are rumours City's sister club New York City FC have a first option to buy the African, but the abovementioned report seems to have quashed those talks.
