Reports coming out of Italy suggest that Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba wants to leave the Red Devils in January, and for a certain club too.
International Deadline Day Transfer Round-Up
According to Tuttosport, the France international is interested in returning to his former team Juventus as he would like to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
The midfielder is said to have a poor relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, and is believed to be desperate to leave Old Trafford in the coming months.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was heavily linked with a move to FC Barcelona in the latest transfer window, but United apparently refused to negotiate with the Catalan giants.
The Bianconeri know they will have to offer the Premier League giants a lot of money if they are to land Pogba's signature, and after spending €112 million (R1.92 billion) on Ronaldo, this transfer may be a step too far.
Pep Defends Under-Fire Mourinho
Pogba, 25, has made four appearances for the Red Devils so far this season, and has found the back of the net on two occasions, both from the penalty spot.
