According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are desperate to keep the Belgian international at the club and are willing to offer him a huge new deal.
The player's current contract is set to expire in 2020, but with heavy interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid, the club is eager to tie him down.
Hazard is said to be earning £220 000 (R3.13 million) a week at Stamford Bridge, but it has been claimed his wage could rise to £300 000 (R4.27 million) if a new contract is agreed.
The 27-year-old has been linked with Los Blancos many times recent seasons, with many expecting the Madrid club to attempt to sign a few world-class players in the next transfer window.
If Hazard does, however, accept Chelsea's new deal, he will become third highest paid player in England, behind Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
